Clear Comfort technology uses the same oxidation process as chlorine to kill bacteria, producing powerful short-lived hydroxyl radicals and more stable hydrogen peroxide that subsists in the water. This process is not only safe but also has healing properties as shown in studies. Clear Comfort has none of the potential detrimental health effects as chlorine. We are using Clear Comfort, as a non-toxic alternative sanitation to chlorine. Enjoy our odor-free and chemical-free swimming pool and surroundings!

Located on Kealakekua Bay accross from the Captain Cook Monument & south of the boat launch, Manini Kapahukapu Beach Park is an ideal place to have a picnic. With panoramic views of the Pali Kapu O Keōua sea cliffs, this is a perfect place to enjoy the wonders of Kealakekua Bay away from the tour boats and kayakers at the monument. The beach is comprised of small bits of lava rock and coral, there is also a sandy shoreline area cutting through the reef that offers easy ocean entry, great for snorkeling and SCUBA!
South of Kealakekua Bay is a lesser known beach visited primarily by locals and surfers. Keʻei Beach is a small, secluded cove unfamiliar to most visitors because it is one of Kona's best kept secrets! Surfers enjoy the long reef break on days when wave conditions are favorable. Keʻei is known for some of the longest wave rides in Kona. This beach offers a small boat launch, as well as a few fishing shacks. However, it’s important to note, there are no public restrooms.
This spot is very popular! The word has gotten around that snorkeling Two Steps is beautiful, and fairly easy to access. There is no beach when snorkeling Two Steps. Instead, you access the water from smooth lava rocks. Close to shore are some enjoyable shallow coral areas, perfect for beginners. You will see many colorful fish here, possibly dolphins, turtles or an octopus, and some healthy diverse coral in 6-10 feet of water.
